The City of Pleasanton and local veterans organizations will host the 29th Annual Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade and Concert on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, in downtown Pleasanton.

The parade begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall at 301 Main Street and travels four blocks north along Main Street to St. Mary's Street, the city announced Monday.

Student Veterans Named Grand Marshals

This year's parade theme honors student veterans. Trevor Penero and Anthony Sandoval, both student veterans at Las Positas College, will serve as the 2026 grand marshals.

Led by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6298 and the American Legion Post 237 Color Guard, the procession will feature more than 75 military and community organizations. Scheduled participants include local veterans groups, military units, marching bands, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, vintage military vehicles, and high-wheel bicyclists from the wheelmen.

Patriotic Concert at 2 p.m.

Following the parade along Main Street, the Veterans Day observance continues at 2:00 p.m. with a free concert by the Pleasanton Community Concert Band, directed by Josh Butterfield.

The post-parade program includes patriotic music, guest speakers, and free ice cream for attendees. Event details are available through the City of Pleasanton.
