Bay Area's Largest Diwali Mela Set for Oct 17 in Pleasanton

The Bay Area's largest Diwali mela, Dussehra Diwali Dhamaka, is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12 PM to 11 PM in Pleasanton. Your Town Monthly reported the event will feature a live fireworks show, a 40-foot Ravan Dahan, Bollywood performances, and over 150 food and shopping vendors.

According to Your Town Monthly: Admission to the mela costs $12, with free entry for children 5 and under. Dandiya tickets are priced at $15. The event will also include carnival rides for visitors to enjoy.

According to Your Town Monthly: Additionally, the City of Pleasanton is hosting a free Diwali Celebration at the Pleasanton Senior Center on the same day, from 1 PM to 3 PM. This event will feature live performances, storytelling, crafts, and activities for all ages.

According to Your Town Monthly: The Dublin Library will also host a free Festival of Lights Celebration on October 27, from 5 PM to 7 PM. This event will include henna, crafts, coloring sheets, games, puzzles, and goodie bags while supplies last.
