G. Harold Duffey, the City Manager of Brentwood, was placed on leave in June due to a texting scandal. Duffey has now asked the City Council to review his contract, which includes a clause for 'good cause' termination. Despite being on leave, Duffey's salary was increased by 3%. Contra Costa Pulse reported these developments.
