Chamber vendor spots are full for Fremont's Oct. 23 Trick or Treat night

Chamber vendor spots for the Oct. 23 Trick or Treat night at Fremont Street Eats are gone. The Fremont Chamber of Commerce said on Sept. 3 that member spaces for the Halloween event are completely filled.\n\nA business that still wants a table has one route left: sponsorship through the City of Fremont's Recreation Services department. Tabling at the Trick or Treat event through that program costs $375.\n\nThose spots are limited too, and the chamber said they fill quickly.\n\nThe city lists its sponsorship opportunities, including the Halloween tabling slot, in a Recreation Services packet; the Trick or Treat listing is on page 6. Businesses start the process by filling out the city's sponsorship inquiry form.\n\nFremont Street Eats is the city's recurring food-truck night, and the Oct. 23 edition is its Halloween date. For a small business, a table there is the kind of thing that gets decided in September — the chamber's notice is essentially a warning that the cheaper door has already closed.\n\nThe chamber did not say how many member spaces there were or when they filled.\n\nOwn or work at a Fremont business?
