Clayton Community Park plans twice-weekly closures for pest management

The City of Clayton will conduct a coordinated pest management program at Clayton Community Park to address ongoing gopher and ground squirrel activity. The entire park will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for four consecutive weeks, with closure dates set for October 12–13, October 19–20, October 26–27, and November 2–3, 2026. The lower parking lot adjacent to the lower baseball field will remain open and accessible for school traffic. Following the initial treatment period, the City will continue routine monitoring and targeted maintenance treatments as needed, according to the City of Clayton — News Flash.
