Creative Growth opens 'Stereo Dynamic' music-inspired art exhibition in Oakland

According to Oakland North: Creative Growth, an art center in Oakland that supports artists with developmental disabilities, has opened the 'Stereo Dynamic' exhibition. The exhibition, which features artwork inspired by music, is on display until Nov. 21. Visitors can attend the exhibition from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays through Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is free.
According to Oakland North: Creative Growth has been hosting exhibition tours for the past three years.
According to Oakland North: Founded in 1973 by Elias Katz and Florence Ludins-Katz, Creative Growth continues to support and showcase the talents of artists with developmental disabilities.
According to Oakland North: One notable piece in the exhibition is a rainbow-painted ukulele created by James Freid, which was purchased for $200 by Steffany Dignum.
According to Oakland North: To enhance accessibility for blind and low-vision visitors, Emma Peyton and Sam Dizon, who works with Creative Growth through a fellowship from Stanford's Institute for Diversity in the Arts, verbally describe the art pieces.
