Fremont chamber marks five years for the Hilton Garden Inn near Warm Springs

The Fremont Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the Hilton Garden Inn Fremont Milpitas, marking five years since the hotel opened, according to a chamber announcement dated Sept. 15. The chamber's notice does not give the day or the hour of the ceremony.\n\nThe hotel sits near the Warm Springs/South Fremont BART station, at the southern end of Fremont where the city runs into Milpitas and the Santa Clara County job corridor. That address is most of the pitch. A guest can walk to a platform instead of renting a car.\n\nFor business travel, the property lists 1,360 square feet of dedicated meeting space, a business center open around the clock and free high-speed WiFi.
