A one-alarm fire was reported Thursday at a building on the 800 block of University Street in San Francisco, according to Hoodline. San Francisco Fire Department said crews found a fire at the rear of the building that had spread from a second-floor balcony to the roof exterior.

According to Hoodline: The department asked people to avoid University, Mansell, and Colby streets while emergency vehicles were operating in the area.
