PG&E to trim trees near powerlines along Iron Horse Trail in Walnut Creek

According to City of Walnut Creek — News Flash: PG&E is conducting vegetation safety work along the Iron Horse Regional Trail in Walnut Creek in coordination with the city, East Bay Regional Park District, and Contra Costa County. The work, which will address select trees between Civic Park and Mt. Diablo Boulevard, will include trimming and removing trees and vegetation located too close to powerlines for safety. Parts of the trail will be closed during this time, and the work is expected to take approximately one week to complete. PG&E will also install protective barriers on select equipment to prevent outages related to wildlife interactions.
