San Francisco — SF Restaurant Week offers prix-fixe menus at multiple price points Oct. 16–25

San Francisco Restaurant Week officially kicked off on Friday, October 16, and runs through Sunday, October 25, 2026, inviting Bay Area diners to explore hundreds of neighborhood kitchens through curated multi-course prix-fixe menus. Throughout the ten-day culinary celebration, participating establishments across the city are offering two-plus-course brunch or lunch menus priced at $15, $25, $35, or $45 per person. Evening diners can choose from three-plus-course dinner menus structured at $30, $45, $60, $75, or $90, making both casual neighborhood bistros and fine-dining destinations accessible across multiple budget tiers.

Local cultural publication 48 Hills released a curated guide highlighting standout participating dining rooms across every price point to help residents navigate the autumn showcase. Among the featured culinary debuts is Casa Sofia, the newest San Francisco restaurant opened by acclaimed Peruvian chef Carlos Altamirano and named in honor of his daughter Sofia. By offering tiered tasting menus during the ten-day festival, new and established chef-driven concepts alike can introduce signature seasonal dishes to first-time guests from San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, and the Peninsula.

Organized in partnership with local hospitality associations and municipal economic development programs, the autumn dining series provides a critical revenue boost for independent restaurants and food-service workers. Commercial corridor committees from the Mission District and Hayes Valley to Chinatown, North Beach, and the Sunset have worked with municipal transit officials to encourage evening foot traffic. Sales tax revenue and hospitality employment generated by vibrant neighborhood dining corridors directly support city programs and storefront vitality.

Culinary enthusiasts traveling into San Francisco from Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Mateo counties via BART or the San Francisco Bay Ferry can filter participating restaurants by neighborhood, cuisine style, dietary accommodations, and price tier. Restaurant operators recommend booking dining reservations early for Friday and Saturday evenings, while weekday lunch and midweek dinner seatings offer relaxed opportunities to sample multi-course menus without crowds. Gift cards and wine pairings are also available at many participating venues to support hospitality teams.

Diners can browse the complete directory of participating San Francisco Restaurant Week establishments, inspect course-by-course menus, and secure online table reservations through October 25 at sfrestaurantweek.com or read critic recommendations at 48hills.org. Questions regarding restaurant participation and hospitality programs may be directed to the Golden Gate Restaurant Association office on Market Street at (415) 781-5348.
