Waymo services are restricted in the north part of San Francisco from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays through Sundays, according to KCBS Radio. The restriction is in place during Fleet Week, a major maritime event that brings thousands of visitors to the city.

Fleet Week, which typically features naval demonstrations, parades, and public events, can cause significant traffic congestion in the city. The restrictions on Waymo services are aimed at managing traffic flow and ensuring public safety during the event.

Residents and visitors in the affected areas are advised to plan their transportation accordingly. The restrictions will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during Fleet Week.
