According to NBC Bay Area: San Jose threatened to close a food pantry located at Lighthouse Food Rescue and Distribution on North 17th Street due to code violations.

Mayor Matt Mahan is working on a compromise to keep the food pantry open, and the city is considering moving the operation to city-owned property.
