Six candidates for San Francisco District 10 supervisor held a forum where Theo Ellington was the only one supporting Mayor Lurie's charter reform propositions.

A forum for the six candidates running for San Francisco District 10 supervisor was held Wednesday evening. The event was hosted by Chinese for Affirmative Action and 3rd Street Youth Center & Clinic, according to The San Francisco Standard.
According to The San Francisco Standard: Theo Ellington was the only candidate who supported Mayor Lurie's charter amendments (Propositions D, E, and F). J.R. Eppler expressed disagreement with commissioners being terminated without cause and argued that the measures set ballot-access thresholds too high. Dion-Jay Brookter criticized the propositions for severely limiting civic engagement and removing oversight on city contracts worth up to $2.5 billion.
