According to The Independent: The Violins of Hope program, which shares the history behind string instruments owned by musicians during the Holocaust, is returning to Livermore with a series of concerts, exhibitions, and educational events. The exhibition will run from Oct. 14 through Nov. 5 at the Bankhead Theater. Concerts are scheduled for Oct. 18 (2–4 p.m.) and Oct. 19 (7:30–9:30 p.m.) at the Bankhead Theater. An evening talk by Avshi Weinstein is set for Oct. 15 at the Livermore Public Library. The program features 14 instruments, fewer than the 24 featured in 2023. The Take3 ensemble, featuring violinist Lindsay Deutsch, cellist Mikala Schmitz, and pianist Jason Stoll, will perform the concerts. General admission tickets range from $40 to $80, with $35 military and $25 student tickets available.
